Privacy policy

This policy explains what information this website, eatkravekulture.com, handles about the people who visit it. The short version: the site has no accounts. Online pickup orders are paid up front through Square, our payment processor, and your card number never reaches us. If you order ahead for pickup we keep your name, phone number and order for 60 days so we can make it and hand it to you. The site sets no cookies for visitors, and the only measurement is a cookieless page-view count. The site is run by Krave Kulture, a food truck based in Miami, FL. Our terms & conditions cover the rest of how the site may be used.
1. What the site does not collect
- There is no account or sign-up, and we never see or store your card number. The only forms are the optional pickup order form, covered in section 2, and the catering request and review forms, covered below it.
- The site sets no cookies for visitors. The order page keeps your cart, and your last order number for 12 hours, in your own browser's storage so a refresh does not lose them; nothing about it is sent to us until you place the order. Unless you untick "Remember my name, number and order on this phone", it also keeps your name, phone number, email and what you last ordered in that same storage so you can reorder in one tap next time. That stays on your phone, and you can clear it any time with the "Forget me" link on the order page. It has no tracking pixels and no advertising or social-media trackers.
- Fonts, images, video and code are served from our own site. There are no third-party embeds such as Google Fonts or map widgets.
- Online orders are paid when you place them. Your card details, or your Apple Pay or Google Pay payment, go straight from your browser to Square, which processes the payment under its own privacy policy. We keep only what Square sends back: the amount, any tip, the card brand, the last 4 digits and a receipt link, stored with your order. If you pay at the window instead, your payment never touches the site.
2. Pickup orders
When online ordering is open you can order ahead on our order page. To place an order you give us your name and a phone number, plus any notes you add and, if you choose, an email address. We use them only to make your order, call your name at the window, and call or text you if there is a problem with that order. If you give an email address, we send one confirmation email with your order number through Resend, an email delivery service, and use it for nothing else. We do not use any of this for marketing and we do not sell or share it. Each order is stored with Upstash, the database service our host Vercel connects us to, and deleted automatically 60 days after it is placed. Only Krave Kulture can see orders, behind a password. Anyone who knows the name on an order and the last 4 digits of its phone number can look that order up on our find your order page for about a day and a half after it is placed; it shows the order number, status, items and total, never the full phone number. If you want an order deleted sooner, message us with your order number.
Reviews. After an order you can rate it on our review page. We store your star rating, any comment you write, the name you choose to show, and which order it was for, with Upstash. If we approve it, the stars, comment, name you chose and the month you wrote it show publicly on our menu page; your phone number and email are never shown. Reviews are kept until we or you remove them. Message us with your order number if you want yours taken down.
Catering requests. If you send a request on our catering page, you give us your name, phone number, the event date, place and guest count, plus an email address and notes if you choose. We use them only to answer your request and plan the event. The request is emailed to Krave Kulture through Resend and stored with Upstash, where only Krave Kulture can see it, behind a password. It is deleted automatically a year after you send it. We do not use it for marketing and we do not sell or share it. Message us if you want it deleted sooner.
3. Page-view counts
We use Vercel Web Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they read. It is built to work without cookies: each visit is counted with a temporary identifier derived from the request, which Vercel discards after 24 hours. Each page view records the time, the page address and the site that referred you, your approximate location (country, region and city), your device type, operating system and browser, and the analytics script version. Vercel states that this is kept anonymous and not tied to any individual or IP address, and what we see are aggregate figures, not profiles of people. Vercel describes exactly what it processes in its Web Analytics privacy documentation. If your browser blocks scripts or the analytics request, the site works exactly the same.
4. Hosting logs
The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel's servers process the technical details your browser sends with each request, such as your IP address, the page requested, the time, and your browser type, in order to deliver the page and protect the service from abuse. We do not use these logs to identify visitors. Vercel's own privacy policy governs how it handles and retains them.
5. Our QR code
Scanning our printed QR card opens the menu page. The code carries only the web address, with no tracking codes attached, so we cannot tell one scan from another.
6. Links to other services
The site links to Instagram, TikTok, map apps and other services we do not run. The Call us button only opens your phone's dialer; we do not see that you tapped it. Once you follow a link, that service's privacy policy applies. We do not see what you do there.
7. Children
The site is a menu and is not aimed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Your rights
The only personal information the site holds is what you typed into a pickup order, deleted after 60 days, a catering request, deleted after a year, or a review you wrote, kept until removed. Message us with your order number if you want it corrected or deleted sooner. Depending on where you live you may also have rights under local privacy law over data that Vercel processes as our host; Vercel's privacy policy explains how to exercise them. If you have a question, or believe we do hold something about you, message us and we will look into it.
9. Changes to this policy
If the site starts doing something new with visitor information, we will update this page first and change the date at the top.
